Hi.
I am Dow Smith, President of Dow Smith Contracting Company, Inc.
Thank you for taking the time to evaluate our company. We are very
proud of our accomplishments at DSCC and we look forward to a bright
future.
Allow
me to provide you a little more information about who I am. The
first thing that I like to talk about is my family. I am married
to Cindy Taliaferro Smith and we have been married since 1989. We
are most proud of our two sons, Harris and Mitchell. We worship
God and Jesus at the Smyrna First United Methodist Church.
I
have worked in the construction industry for most of my life. My
father had his own residential construction company and I worked
with him for many years. I went to college (Auburn University) and
I acquired my taste for the commercial construction industry. After
graduation from Auburn University in 1989, I moved to Memphis, Tennessee
to be near Cindy (my fiancée at the time) as she completed
her pharmacy degree. In Memphis, I sharpened my skills while working
with two different general contracting firms. (Inman Construction
Corp. & Zellner Construction Co.).
As I said earlier,
I graduated from Auburn University in 1989. I earned a bachelor's
degree in Building Science. Prior to going to Auburn University,
I graduated from John Overton High School in Nashville, Tennessee.
