Joey Rhyne is vice president/project manager and a key member of the Dow Smith team. Rhyne oversees multiple commercial construction projects at Dow Smith Contracting Company, as well as being responsible for project estimating, retaining and managing subcontractors, material procurement and safety oversight.

Rhyne is experienced in ground-up projects, renovation, interior build-out, medical offices, churches and retail.

Before entering the construction industry, Rhyne worked as a student minister at Grassland Heights Baptist Church in Franklin. “With youth work, planning and communication are key,” Rhyne says. “I bring these skills with me to the construction industry.”

Rhyne is a resident of Rutherford County, and has been married to Christy Rhyne for seven years. The couple has two children.

Rhyne earned his Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a minor in Business Administration from Belmont University. He graduated from Hendersonville High School. The Rhyne family are members of First Baptist Church in Smyrna, TN.
