Located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Sloan’s Motorcycle & ATV has experienced significant growth over the past few years. When they acquired the Harley-Davidson store next to their original location, as well as the retail space beyond, the Dow Smith team was tasked with turning three buildings into one. Additional warehouse space was also constructed to accommodate their growing inventory.
Project challenges included maintaining a safe and clean job site while Sloan’s remained open for business. We worked closely and extensively with the City of Murfreesboro Planning and Building Code departments to facilitate the issuance of the building permit. The new addition also required a unique design to the structural system to accommodate gutters that could handle rain runoff from two buildings.
